The Pueblo Indians / Liza N. Burby.
Composed of many individual tribes, including the Tewa and Taos, the Pueblos have lived for close to 1,000 years primarily in present-day Arizona and New Mexico, but also as far away as Colorado and Utah. When Spanish explorers arrived in the area in the early 1500s, they were impressed by the Pueblo's skilled farming and elaborate adobe villages.
