Indian designs from ancient Ecuador / by Frederick W. Shaffer.
The pre-Columbian Indians of ancient Ecuador produced some of the most imaginative and powerful art and design of their times. Although extremely popular among artists, designers and craftsmen, these designs have been impossible to find in one convenient, inexpensive source. This collection includes 282 of these pre-Columbian designs (500-1500 a.d.), among them rich representations of people, mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, plants, heads, geometric designs and more.
