"The precedent of presenting a special set of limited edition prints was set by the Northwest Coast Indian Artists Guild releases in 1977 and 1978. Due to circumstances, the Guild was unable to publish a 1979 collection. With the continuance of this tradition in mind, we have attempted to draw from among the same group of artists and at the same time introduce a few additional artists not previously published in the Guild releases"--Foreword page.
