In 1988, filmmaker Kevin Tomlinson interviewed a group of hippies - living and raising families off-grid in rural Washington State - insulated from mainstream culture. Nearly 20 years later he tracked down his subjects again to find out what had become of their dreams of environmental utopia and sixties idealism.
