Nature: Ravens: Intelligence in flight / a co-production of Partridge Films and Thirteen/WNET.
Ravens are members of the crow family. They are found everywhere in the northern hemisphere and can adapt from deserts to mountains a feat requiring high intelligence. As scavengers, ravens know how and when to take advantage of other animals. In Yellowstone National Park, animals that don't survive the winters attract coyotes who rip open the hides, making the meat accessible to ravens. Ravens not only follow wolves, even flying ahead and leading them to prey.
