The creek runs red
Tells the story of Picher, a 100-year old town in northeastern Oklahoma that was heavily polluted by decades of lead & zinc mining. Despite toxic conditions and a moribund economy, many of Picher's residents refuse to leave, even after the area is officially declared a Superfund site in 1981.
