American Indian millennium [kit] : renewing our ways of life for future generations.

Summary:

Curriculum for young students that teaches Native American practices and history. Content is derived from presentations made at the American Indian Millennium Forum conducted at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., November 29-December 2, 2001. The journal issue included in the curriculum is a special edition of "Native Americas Journal", v. 19, no. 3/4 (fall/winter 2002). It serves as the textbook for the curriculum and contains proceedings from the forum and introductory information to the curriculum. The forum, journal issue and curriculum are results of the American Indian Millennium Project conducted by LifeWay in cooperation with the Tides Center. The project was initiated in 1998 with the purpose of providing resources for the continuation of Native practice and nation-building within the context of indigenous intelligence.
