The Great Tribal Leaders of Modern Times interview series offers oral histories of contemporary native leaders who have played vital roles in their people's struggles for sovereignty, self-determination and treaty rights. This DVD focuses on Eddie Tullis (Poarch Band of Creek), who spent more than twenty-five years serving as the Chairman of the Poarch Creek Indians. In addition to talking about his time as Chairman, Tullis also discusses his focus on creating a tribal economy that will provide education, housing and health care for the Poarch Band of Creek.
