The adventures of Hawke Travis / Eli Colter.
The life of Hawke Travis began when the West was young. He was born on the Western Reserve in northeastern Ohio and moved West with his family when he was nine years old. Even at that young age, he became a good shot. Times were hard but Hawke dreamed of something better. He was sent to live with an uncle in Iowa, where he gained some education, improved his gunmanship, and met a friend called Joe Towers. In 1877 he and his deadly gun started out in the world and Hawke became a fine man who had a lifetime full of adventures. He never double-crossed a friend, a partner, or even a sucker who trusted him, and to abuse a woman or a child was to invite his swift and devastating rage.
