- This is the first in a series of reproductions of scarce, out-of-print publications relating to Okanogan County sponsored by Okanogan County Historical Society. "Glimpses of Pioneer Life", issued in 1924, consisted of 53 pioneer interviews and several articles written by Ozro H. Woody, publisher of the Okanogan Independent from 1907 until 1946. The Articles had appeared as a weekly column in his newspaper during 1923 and 1924.Cover title: Glimpses of pioneer life of Okanogan County, Washington.
