Community mobilisation dialogue with Aboriginal communities / Public Safety Canada.
Community Mobilisation is a cultural value for Aboriginal people (First Nation, Metis and Inuit). It creates balance, equality and holistic approaches to support the community in its efforts. Participants acknowledged that the gatherings with the Department of Public Safety's Aboriginal Corrections Policy Unit helped motivate communities to continue the dialogue to strengthen their work in this area.
